Week 9 PRIDE Award

Congratulations to Halo and Naisa who received PRIDE awards this week for showing Parkvale PRIDE consistently in Room 22.  What a fabulous start to school!

Room 22's Froglet

Wow!  We got a big surprise today to see our biggest tadpole had grown it's front legs over the weekend.  We got to watch it sitting up on the rock this afternoon.  It is now called a froglet.  I wonder how long it will take for it's tail to shorten?

Pride Award - Week 7

Mowvember in Room 22

Today we celebrated Mowvember in Room 22. Hope you like our moustaches!

Life Cycle of a Frog

Brodie showed us how he knows about the life cycle if a frog. Well done Brodie!

Bubble Fun!

On Friday we had lots of fun blowing bubbles.  There were huge bubbles and little tiny ones.
We raced around trying to catch them, but the wind was blowing them away so fast!
We had a poem and a book about bubbles too!

Napier Fun Day 

We had so much fun today visiting Ocean Spa, the park and the bike track.  We showed Parkvale PRIDE all day.  What a super day Room 22!

PRIDE Award Week 5

Tadpoles

We have tadpoles in Room 22.  We are going to be observing them closely to see what happens to them.  This is what we already know about tadpoles and frogs.

 

We would like to find out:
How do tadpoles turn into frogs?
How they jump and swim?
What do frogs eat?
Where do you get tadpoles from?

What wonderful writers in Room 22. We have been practising writing our Early Words. We have to remember to put spaces between our words and say our words to hear the sounds , then we know what letters to write. We are so clever!
